World Psychedelics Day 2023 – Drugs Over Dinner

In 2023, World Psychedelics Day (WPD 620) partnered with DrugsOverDinner.org, the Psychedelic Association of Canada (PAC), and the Ethical Psychedelic International Community (EPIC) to encourage thoughtful, compassionate conversations about psychedelics at dinner tables worldwide.

On and around June 20th, individuals from across the globe hosted and participated in intimate gatherings designed to foster meaningful dialogue about psychedelic experiences, ethics, and therapeutic potentials. Supported by the Drugs Over Dinner initiative, participants accessed tools to plan, facilitate, and moderate their events, creating safe and inclusive spaces for open discussion.

The campaign emphasized personal storytelling, community connection, and informed conversations, highlighting emerging perspectives on psychedelic-assisted therapy and mental health. Participants were encouraged to share highlights of their dinners through social media using hashtags such as #WPD620, #psychedelics, and #psychedelicethics, expanding the global conversation and community engagement.

Continuing the legacy from previous years, the 2023 event further solidified World Psychedelics Day's role in promoting global awareness, education, and advocacy for responsible psychedelic use and cultural acceptance.
